questions.
If your question is not covered here, contact the workshop.
01What is a split-flap display?+
It is a grid of physical modules. Each module rotates through printed flaps until the chosen character or color appears. The movement is part of how the message lands.
02How customizable is the display?+
Choose Small (1 row × 8 characters), Medium (3 rows × 15), or Large (6 rows × 22), then preview your message and typeface. Every module includes 64 flaps: 26 letters, 10 digits, 20 symbols, and 8 colors, including black as a blank. Mounting and control are confirmed with the workshop.
03Can I show changing messages?+
Yes. The system is designed for changing information. The exact control method and integrations are confirmed for each project.
04What is a color field display?+
The eight color flaps included in every module can form a color composition across the grid. Letters, digits, and symbols remain part of the same 64-flap set.
05How long will my display take?+
Lead time depends on size, materials, current workshop capacity, and installation needs. You will receive a timing estimate before approving production.
06Does the builder price include shipping and installation?+
No. The builder provides a made-to-order estimate for the configured display. Shipping, taxes, installation, and unusual integration work are reviewed separately.
07Can you help with a large commercial installation?+
Yes. Use the contact page and tell us about the space, audience, desired content, and any schedule requirements.
08What happens after I submit a build request?+
We review the configuration, ask any necessary questions, and return a final specification, price, and lead time before production begins.
